Tutoring at University of St Andrews:
Tutorials are run by the tutor with small groups of students. The tutor works through set problems with the group. The following tutor roles were repeated over multiple academic years from 2015/16 onwards.
- MT1002 1st year Mathematics (Sub-honours Level Module)
- MT2507 Mathematical Modelling (Sub-honours Level Module)
Workshops and Courses:
- Co-organiser of EASTBIO: Mathematical Modelling for Biologists
- One day interactive workshops for biology PhD students from East-Scotland Universities. Co-wrote and co-delivered lectures on computational and mathematical methods to describe biological phenomena and ran hands-on coding sessions. Run in February 2021 and rerun in February 2022. My material was then reused in 2023.
- Co-organiser of Honours Applied Mathematics Skill Workshop
- One hour interactive workshops for 2nd year mathematics students at the University of St Andrews. Co-wrote and co-delivered a lecture on computational and mathematical methods to describe biological phenomena. Run in October 2017 and rerun in October 2018.
